After moving to the Valley 27 years ago, I was called upon by my neighbor who then conducted wool spinning workshops at her studio to reconstruct and repair antique spinning wheels for herself and her students. Enjoying this creative challenge, so began my interest in the art of repairing antique spinning wheels. I routinely work on tune-ups, repairs, crafting new parts, and refinishing antique flax and wool wheels.
